轮毂电机的显著优势及特点是将动力、传动和制动系统高度集成于轮毂内部,可使搭载车辆减省离合器、变速器、传动轴、差速器、分动器等驱动部件,从而降低质量、提高效率、简化底盘结构、提升车内可用空间。但轮毂电机的产业化之路,仍有诸多瓶颈尚需解决。结合轮毂电机相关技术、成本、制造、市场等难点简要分析,探讨了轮毂电机产业化发展思路。

In-wheel motor has the remarkable advantage and characteristic of highly integrating the powertrain, transmission and brake system, which can save the clutch, gearbox, transmission shaft, differential, transfer case, etc., so as to reduce weight, improve efficiency, simplify chassis structure, and increase vehicle interior available space. However, there are still many bottlenecks to be solved in the way of in-wheel motor industrialization. Combined with the brief analysis of the related technical, cost, manufacturing, marketing and other difficulties of in-wheel motor, the development of the in-wheel motor industrialization is searched and discussed.
