    Abstract:

    At present, the research on fivephase induction motors has continuously accelerated on the basis of the design, manufacture, and parameter calculation of fivephase induction motors. The overall design of a small fivephase induction motor was completed and provided, accomplishing the manufacture of a prototype machine. The multiloop mathematical model of fivephase induction motors was established, and moreover, all the parameters in this kind of model were calculated, taking the prototype machine as an example. Finally, experimental and simulation results were provided to validate the above work.
