    Abstract:

    The Photovoltaic (PV) pump system possesses advantages such as pollutionfree and fullyautomatic, which can be applied in a wide area. Thus a PV pump control system based on TMS320F28335 has been designed. The variable voltage variable frequency (VVVF) strategy based on space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) was employed in the speed governor of the threephaseasynchronous motor in the system. The MPPT algorithm took advantage of a combination of continuously variable transmission (CVT) and perturbation & observation (P&O) method. The proposed idea has been validated through experiment.
