Abstract:In order to improve the reliability of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) driving system with paralleledinverter, two kinds of fault tolerant control schemes of PMSM driven by paralleledinverter with the comparative study method were designed, which were the normal channel current compensation scheme and equivalent current value compensation scheme. Two kinds of faulttolerant control schemes were different from the traditional scheme, isolating faulty inverters as a whole, but making full use of all nonfault inverter bridge arms to reduce copper consumption under fault conditions and output smooth torque. In addition, both of the new schemes incorporate a proportional resonant current controller to track the asymmetrical reference current and avoid possible outofloop currents between the parallel inverters. Finally, through the fault tolerant control experiment of PMSM driving system with paralleledinverter, the effect of the new faulttolerant control strategy was verified.
