Abstract:Based on analyzing the speed loop characteristics of directdriven permanentmagnet synchronous wind turbine, the closedloop transfer function of speed control for the generatorside PWM converter was deduced. As a nonorigin closed loop zero exists in the transfer function, an improved PI control strategy was proposed to eliminate the nonorigin closedloop zero and to enhance dynamic characteristics under disturbances. Meanwhile, the idea was applied to the control of the gridside PWM converter. The simulation results showed that the modified control strategy could reduce the overshoots of the dynamic responses in the generatorside and gridside control systems, quicken dynamic response speed and improve the stability of gridconnected operation for the whole double PWM directdriven permanentmagnet wind power generation system.
