Electric Machines & Control Application (formerly known as Small and Medium Electric Machines), founded in 1959, is a professional and authoritative journal in electrical technology registered and approved by National Press and Publication Administration. It is sponsored by Shanghai Electrical Apparatus Research Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. Submissions from technicians and researchers are welcomed.

Section 1 Scope and Columns

The publishing scope of the journal including three parts: Electric Machine, Control and Application. Columns include: Control and Application Technique, Research and Design, Fault Diagnosis and Protection, New Energy Power Generation and Local Power Grid, Electric Vehicle Technology, Generator Set and Control, Measuring and Testing Techniques/Systems, Materials and Processes, Electric Machine Production and Quality Management, Power Electronics Converter Technology, Intelligent Manufacturing, Energy Saving Application, etc. A brief introduction is as followed.

1. Control and Application Technique: Control technologies and applications for electric machines other than variable frequency and speed regulation.

2. Research and Design: Basic and theoretical research on electric machine body (including theories, techniques, and research results), as well as related electric machine design technologies.

3. Fault Diagnosis and Protection: Electricl machine protection, fault detection, operation and maintenance, etc.

4. New Energy Power Generation and Local Power Grid: New energy power generation technology and related technologies including grid connection, distribution, etc.

5. Electric Vehicle Technology: Electric machines design, control and other technologies related to electricl vehicle industry.

6. Energy Saving Application: Efficient electric machines and driven equipment, electric machines remanufacturing, new energy-saving technologies for electric machine systems, energy-saving application cases, etc.

7. Power Electronics Converter Technology: Research and development of converters and related control technologies, variable frequency technology, speed regulation technology, and frequency converters.

8. Measuring and Testing Techniques/Systems: Testing technology, instruments and equipment related to electric machines.

9. Materials and Processes: Research and application of new technologies and new materials in electric machines manufacturing process.

10. Intelligent Manufacturing: Intelligent manufacturing of electric machines, digital workshops, etc.

11. Generator Set and Control: Hydraulic and thermal power generation units and control.

12. Practical Technical Achievements: Technical achievements that have been successfully applied in production or engineering, such as product development, operation and maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Section 2 Requirement for Manuscript

1. Article Type: Research or review articles are acceptable.

2. Authors: Please provide author’ s name, gender, year of birth, workplace (or school of study), job title and/or degree, current research domain, and specific contact information (including mailing address, postal code, phone number, mobile phone number, and email address).

3. Abstract and Keywords: Manuscripts must have Chinese and English title, author's name, author's institute, abstract (approximately 200 Chinese characters), and keywords (3-8 words).

4. Main Body Text: Figures should be put after the paragraphs where they are mentioned. The wordcount is preferably about 5000 Chinese characters for each article. The characters, figures, units of measurement, formula symbols, and translated terms in the manuscript should be written in accordance with relevant national standards and norms. The three-line style should be adopted for tables. Please use a sequential coding system for references as required by GB/T 7714-2015. If the manuscript belongs to a funding project, national research project, or supported by national scientific and technological achievement award, please indicate the project and its number. The corresponding author shall be marked clearly in the manuscript.

Section 3 Submission Method

1. Please submit your manuscript via the only official website ( http://www.motor-abc.cn/). Article templates can be downloaded from the website.

2. The Journal only accepts submissions online. Multiple submission is not allowed. Manuscript can be submitted to another journal only if it is rejected by this journal.

3. This journal conducts a plagiarism check on all submissions, mainly using Wanfang plagiarism check software. CNKI plagiarism check system may also be used for reference. Generally, the repetition ratio is required to be 10% -15% or below, with a maximum of 25%.

4. This journal does not charge any fees to authors.
